Kuang-yu Tsui alters Taipei’s public space through his interventions with an invisible wearable machine in his backpack and under his jacket. This allows him to manipulate the environment for the camera or the people around him and change its perception. His poetic actions will bring a smile to your face.
However, behind the illusion the artist creates lies a social message. He challenges the viewer to look at everyday life differently and to consider the option of reshaping the environment at any time – even if only for a moment – with a desirable magical power to move objects without touching them.
