When landing on new grounds, there’s an inherent adaptation that takes place and opens doors to reinvent, shift one’s perspective and perhaps find new or renewed meanings. In Landing, graffiti removal becomes an involuntary new form of abstract art, a collage of B-films becomes its own meditation on the long- lasting effects of Cinema, a community becomes a bulwark that stands up to injustices, Las Vegas becomes a living theater in which characters learn how to behave, and pedagogical lingo is turned upside down in a nonsensical lesson.
