New Grounds pays tribute to the expressive power of video art and experimental film. In this exhibition, Viewmaster Projects and Video Power show many interpretations of the fall, and the playful ways in which video artists relate to their environment after landing on new grounds.
Main venue is the first floor of the renovated Kunstfront. Eleven enchanting, moving and haunting works temporarily transform the former Radium office and squatter art house into an exhibition zone. Another work is presented in Bureau Europa and another one in Limestone Books.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Viewmaster Projects and Video Power, two media art initiatives based in Maastricht. New Grounds is affiliated with Transitions, a festival for adventurous filmmaking, organised by Video Power from 10-12 Oct in Lumière.
